Barasa bint Asaf

Barasa was born with a different name in Chantara, and grew up in the same temple as Caranta. When the time came to bond, instead of being granted a great deity, she bonded with a Deinosuchus, the malicious god of death. The temple wouldn't have such a priest, and her family such a daughter, so she fled north, to Thara. There, she was taken in by Asaf al Khalif, the father of the future Sultan, and from that day forward she ceased to be Chantaran.

Through a mutual bet with her adoptive brother, Suberi, Barasa ended up the Kiongozi of Mtwagonge, fighting on the front alongside the Sultan.
